AS SALAMO ALAIYKA
YA AMEEN ALLAHI FEE ARZEHE
WA HUJJATAHU ALA IBADEH
Peace be on You,
O the trustee of Allah on His earth,
and His Proof over His servants.
AS SALAMO ALAIYKA
YA AMEERAL MU'MINEEN
Peace be on you,
O Ameer al Mu'mineen.
ASHADO AN NAKA JA HADTA
FILAAHE HAQQA JIHADEHI
WA AMILTA BE KITABEHI
WAT TAB'ATA SUNANA NABIYEHI
I bear witness that,
you strived in the way of Allah what is due,
and you acted upon His Book,
and followed the ways of His Prophet,
SAL ALLAHO ALAIHE WA AALEHI
HATTA DA'AAKALLAHU ILA JAWAREHI blessings of Allah be on him and his family,
until Allah called You to His side.
FA QABAZAKA ILAEHE BE IKHTIYAREHI
WA ALZAMA A'ADA AAKAL HUJJATA
MA AA MALAKA MINAL HUJJAJEIL BALIGHA
ALA JAMEEA KHALQEHI So He took you to Him by His choice,
and made incumbent upon your enemies the proof,
with what you have of the considerable proofs,
over all of His creation.
ALLAHUMMA FAJ'AL NAFSI MUTMA IYNNA BE QADREKA
RAZIYATAM BE QAZAA IYKA MULA'ATAMBE ZIKRIKA
WA DU'AA IKA MUHABBATAL LI SAFWATE
AOLIYAA IKA MAHBOOBATAN O Allah, then make my soul, satisfied with Your decree,
pleased with what You have destined for me,
fond of Your remembrance and supplications,
loving Your chosen friends.
FI ARZEKA WA SAMAA IKA SABIRATAN
ALA NAZOOLIM BALAA IKA
SHAKIRATAL LI FAWAZILI
NE'MAA IKA ZAKIRATAL LE SAWABEGHE
AALA IKA MUSHTAQATAN ILA FARHATE
LEQAA IKA MUTAZAW WADAT TAQWA
LE YAOUME JAZAA IKA MUSTAN NATATAL LISUNANE
AULIYAA IKA MAFARIQATAL LE IKHLAQE AA'DAA IKA
MASHGHOOLATAN AN-ID DUNIYA BE HAMDEKA WA SANAA IKA (Let me be) well liked on Your earth and in Your heavens,
patient when You send down afflictions,
grateful for Your gracious blessings,
remembering Your abundant bounties,
yearning for the happiness of meeting with You,
equipped with piety for the day of Your reward,
avoiding the manners of Your enemies,
diverted from the (love of) world by
Your remembrance and Your praise.
ALLAHUMMA INNA QULUBAL MUKHBITEENA ILEIKA
O Allah, the hearts of those who humble themselves before You, are full of love.
WA AALEHATUN WA SUBULUR RAGHIBEENA ILEIKA SHAREATUN
WA AALAMAL QASIDEENA ILEIKA WAZEHATUN
WA AFEEDATAL AARIFEENA MINKA FAZI'AATUN
WA ASWATAD DAEENA ILEKA SAEDATUN
WA ABWABAL IJABATI LAHUM MUFAT TAHATUN
WA DA'AWATA MAN NAJAKA MUSTAJABATUN
WA TAUBATA MIN ANABA ILEIKA MAQBOOLATUN
WA ABRATA MAM BAKA MIN KHOUFEKA MARHOOMATUN
WAL IGHASATA LAMANIS TAGHASA BEKA MOJOODATUN
WAL IE'AANATA LEMANIS TA'AANA BEKA MABZOOLATUN
WA IDATEKA the paths of those who desire You are fixed.
The signs for those who seek You are clear.
The hearts of those who know You,
are empty of other than You.
The sounds of those who call You rise to You,
and the gates of answers are open for them.
The prayer of the one who whispers to you is answered.
The repentance of the one who turns to You is accepted.
The tears of the one who weeps in Your fear
are dealt with mercifully.
BE IBADEKAMUNJAZATUN
WA ZALAL MANIS TAQALAKA MUQALATUN
WA A'AMALAL AALELEENA LADEKA MAHFOOZATAN
WA ARZAQA ILAL KHALAA IKE MIL LA DUNKA NAZILATUN
WA AWAA IDAL MAZEEDE ILEHIM WA SILATUN
WA ZUNOOBAL MUSTAGHFIREENA MAGHFOORATUN
WA HAWAA IJA KHALQEKA INDAKA MAQZEEYATUN
WA JAWAA IZAS SAA'ELEENA INDEKA MUWAF FARATUN
WA AWAA IDAL MAZEEDE MUTAWATIRATUN
MUWAA 'IDAL MUSTAZAMEENA MUAD DATUN
WA MANAHALAZ ZEMAA'E LADAEKA
MUTRA 'ATUN Help is available for one who cry for help from You,
and assistance is given generously to the one who seeks it.
Your promises for Your servants are fulfilled.
The errors of the one who seeks to reduce them,
are reduced.
The actions of the doers (of good deeds),
are preserved with You,
and the provision for Your creatures comes down.
The promises of increase (in provision) reach them,
The sins of those who seek forgiveness are forgiven.
The needs of Your creatures are fulfilled.
The rewards of the beseechers are available in plenty,
with You.
The promises of increase are continous.
Wholesome food is prepared for the hungry,
and drinks are filled for the thirsty.
ALLAHUMMA FATAJIB DUA'E
WAQBAL SANAAE
WAJMA BAINE WA BAINA AULIYAA'E
BE HAQQE MUHAMMADIN
WA ALIYIN WA FATIMATA
WAL HASANE WAL HUSSAINE O Allah, so answer my prayer,
and accept my praise.
Unite me with my friends,
for the sake of Muhammad,
and Ali, and Fatimah,
Hasan and Husayn (a.s).
iN-NAKA
WALIYU NAEMAAYE
WA MUNTAHA MUNAYA
WA GHAYATU RAJAA'YE
FEE MUNQALABI WA MASWAYA Surely You are,
the Master of my bounties,
the object of my desires,
the goal of my hopes,
in my ultimate end and my stable abode.
ANTA ILAHI WA SYEDI WA MAULAYA (O Allah), You are my God, my Lord, and my Master.
IGHFIR LE AOLIAAENA
WA KUFFA ANNA AADAANA Forgive (the sins of ) our guardians,
keep away our enemies from us,
and divert them from troubling us.
WASH SHUGHALHUM AN AZANA
WA AZHIR KALEMATAL
BAATILE WAJALHAS SUFLA Let the word of Truth become manifest
and make it supreme,
and let the word of falsehood be refuted
and make it low,
INNAKA ALA KULLE SHAIYIN QADEER Surely You have power over all things.
